Praise

I really love the mother’s I get to work with. Really love. Each conversation and every single interaction makes a difference for ME and MY life. I just wanted to make sure everyone knows that. It truly is an honor to do what I do.

Here are few kind words from some of the lovely ladies I have come to know and love:

I underestimated what a gentle but pivotal role the team would play in my life. I shouldn’t have.

You should never underestimate the power of a collective female energy.

The very foundation of nearly a dozen mamas on one cooperative journey is rooted in creation. But it also resonates a strength, a nurturing and a no bullshit attitude that is the unmistakable art of such empowered women.

It also brings balance to the experience. Each one of us had a slightly different story to tell, a slightly different path to take, a slightly different view of the world. And we could offer it all without fear or judgment. One mama could see things another couldn’t. Another could offer something no one else had. We had humor and caution, drive and gentleness and eleven lifetimes of experience and resources to feed each others’ dreams.

It could not have come at a better time for me. In a summer filled with inspiration, but complete and paralyzing unassuredness, the Visionary Mom Team stepped in and saved my ass.

Have I mentioned that I was working on my photography shop for four months prior to joining? And that I managed to accomplish my goal in just three weeks on the team?

How about that I did more for my Sustainable Baby Steps Site in 7 weeks on the team than I did in the 13 previous months that I had been working on the site?!

On top of lighting a fire under my ass the team has helped me to:

  • Identify and overcome numerous creative roadblocks
  • Acknowledge my personal groove
  • Figure out and execute a plan
  • Stay accountable along the way

I’ve learned that going it alone is just short of crazy.

I work full time from home while homeschooling two small children, so learning to set aside some time to work on my goals, hopes, and dreams was almost a laughable idea.

When I decided to try the Visionary Mom Teams, based on a recommendation by an online friend, I was wallowing in disorganization and quite a bit of self-induced chaos. I work full time from home while homeschooling two small children, so learning to set aside some time to work on my goals, hopes and dreams was almost a laughable idea.

However, after working with Lisa for several months, I’ve been overjoyed by the focus and renewed energy I have for both my personal and work projects. My home is in better order, my business is thriving, and my family and I are communicating on a whole new level. I’m able to express myself clearly to them, explain what I need to support my goals, and I’m a happier, more functional person for joining the program. Lisa is doing amazing work with her small groups, and I highly recommend them to any mom who needs a bit of “oomph” in her life.

Faced with a major life decision, I asked the team for support and wisdom.

My Visionary Mom Team has been a powerful part of my life for the past four months. Lisa’s guidance in creating a vision statement, taking stock of my life, and affirming my personal power have encouraged me to approach life in a different way; making decisions that move me towards being the most amazing person I can be.

The Team has also been amazing. By focusing my energy on supporting this team of diverse, honest, and committed women, I truly believe that I have created a circle of positive energy around myself. And from that energy, amazing things have happened. Faced with a major life decision, I asked the team for support and wisdom. And surely enough, things in my life have shifted to point me in the right direction. Will this decision be an easy one? No. But will it enhance my ability to live within my vision? Absolutely. I highly recommend jumping into a team and giving it your all. What you put into the team experience, you will take away from it.

I learned alot about being happy where I am in life.

Being on a Visionary Mom team really helped me feel like I had the support to achieve my dreams. I also learned a lot about being happy where I am in life and that changes will come when they are supposed to.

Bouncing off ideas with other visionary moms, chatting about our home lives, and dreaming of the possibilities had a wonderful impact on my life. I am very grateful for my time on a team!

I’ve finally begun to act on a dream I’ve had for a long time.

As part of the Visionary Moms team, I’ve finally begun to act on a desire – to start a children’s book podcast – I’ve had for a long time. More importantly, this action has worked on my confidence in a quite subconscious way and I’ve found myself doing things that I’ve been avoiding for years, like riding horses again. I can’t imagine that I would have made these leaps without the team behind me, encouraging me.

I was feeling exasperated about the amount of stress I was under, all the work I had to do, and the effects that this was having on my relationship with my son.

I joined a visionary mom team in the last few months of my Ph.D. I have a two year old son, and I was feeling exasperated about the amount of stress I was under, all the work I had to do, and the effects that this was having on my relationship with my son. The problem was there was no one in my life who was really supporting me in my goals of finishing school and being a good mama.

The visionary mom team became a huge part of my support system. I found the other women on my team so inspiring and I love hearing about their lives. Even though we were working on totally different things, we also had a lot in common in our drive for self improvement and love of our kids.

I think the most important thing that I learned from being on a team was how I make my life so much harder by giving in to negative self talk. I realized that when I turned it around and started being gentle with myself, and lovingly encouraging myself, I got more done and it felt a lot better too.

Now my degree is almost finished and I am so excited to move on to the next stage of my life. I understand how to make things happen for myself and love the process and I realize that I can apply this to any area of my life.

My experience in working with Lisa and the Visionary Mom Team was life changing.

It came at a time when I was ready to begin exploring more of myself and feeling drawn to the voice that was asking me to create more. I came with a small seed and left with this plant that has grown into an idea and is taking shape. The experience has been nothing but positive for me and I now have connections with these other amazing women who are now part of my tribe. Thank you Lisa for creating an environment where beautiful things happen.

My original idea when I join the team completely changed into something bigger and more authentic.

The Visionary Moms Team was an amazing experience. I found support from amazing moms all over the world. I was productive and loved the insightful calls with Lisa. The private blog was an amazing place to connect, learn about other moms, share ideas and get support.

My original idea when I join the team completely changed into something bigger and more authentic. Thank you to Lisa for creating and nurturing this amazing space for women.

I’ve learned how very, VERY important it is to take ACTION.

The Visionary Mom Team has taught me about reaching out and asking for help, that it is necessary and healing.

Lisa is so energetic, positive, open, and supportive. She believes it is her life purpose to help others see their greatness and she truly lives her purpose and passion. She helped me see beyond my own limiting and small beliefs about myself many times.

While working with Lisa and the other Visionary Mamas on the team I was able to create a website for an existing, but stagnant business and I began working on an e-course I had an idea for. I have moved beyond merely “watching out the window” to taking action on and living the dreams I’ve had swimming around in my head and heart for so long.
