First and foremost, you are a mama.
You love your little people more than anything in the whole world. You are into conscious parenting, living life at a slower pace, taking the time to really be with your children, paying attention, learning and growing together.
You know that the choices and decisions you make today effect who your children become tomorrow. You think a lot about how you are raising your kids and the environment you are providing for them. Quality of life is important to you.
You are also a visionary.
You have dreams and goals that inspire you and excite you. There are things that call to you, that invigorate you, that have your spirit soar.
It could be painting, photography, making a difference in your community, empowering people, writing, mountain climbing, getting involved in politics, homeschooling, singing, teaching yoga, traveling the world, creating an amazing home, salsa dancing…. whatever! It is YOUR thing. THE thing. You know, the visionary thing that keeps you up at night and makes you feel young and excited and full of life.
Or maybe you have NO IDEA what your thing is.
You know you have a thing, you just can’t seem to find it. Like maybe you used to have a thing, then you became a mom and THAT thing just doesn’t feel like IT anymore. But, for sure you want to have a thing again. Because being inspired and excited and lit up by something IS your thing.
You are a visionary mom who is ready to be visioning again.
Maybe you have been totally caught up in “just being a mom”. Pouring your heart and soul into taking care of your children while your dreams have been put on hold, waiting for a day when you are not so needed, or tired, or overwhelmed. Being a mom can be a tough job and I know that I spent the first part of motherhood putting my needs last.
Then one day I started to feel the ache, the yearning to be doing something. Something that was all mine, that made me feel excited and passionate about life…just because. I wanted something that was just for me and my own self expression. Something that had nothing to do with being a mom.
And then the guilt kicked in.
What is it about that? Why do so many of us feel guilty for wanting to express ourselves in the world? For wanting to be inspired? For wanting to do something for ourselves? I don’t know the answer to that, but I do know I hear it A LOT from other mothers. We just love our children so much we are willing to sacrifice anything for them, even THAT thing that we love so much. I like to call this the mommy martyr syndrome.
Well, it doesn’t have to be that way.
Living a passionate, committed, visionary life is THE BEST gift we can give to our children. When we live our own lives fully, giving our whole heart to whatever it is that rocks our world, we teach them to do the same. Yes, it can be hard sometimes to balance it all. But, it is so worth it, don’t you think?
Does this sound like you?
If so, you have come to the right place. This website is a place where what is possible is made into reality. Where our visions come true and we get to be whoever we wish to be. And, we get to be that person while taking care of and nurturing our babies.
And, it doesn’t get much better than that.
